DETROIT - Today Jason Kander, veteran and former Secretary of State of Missouri, endorsed Senator Adam Hollier for Congress.
“Adam’s spirit of service and commitment to our veterans are what sparked my interest in this race,” Former Secretary of State of Missouri Jason Kander said. “We also share a commitment to protecting the right to vote for all Americans – and our work on voting rights remains a critical issue in this election. Adam has a track record of results in his current public office and an extremely bright future ahead of him. I can’t wait to see what he does on the national level.”
Jason founded Let America Vote, a national campaign against voter suppression. He has also served as a teaching fellow at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, and worked as a CNN Commentator.
Jason Kander joins Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-6), as well as additional national veterans groups, below, who have chosen to endorse Senator Hollier for Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
“I am honored to have the support of Jason Kander in the race to represent Michigan’s 13th District, “ Senator Hollier said. “Serving my country in the Army and having served my community as a volunteer firefighter, I know what it takes to answer the call to service and actually improve lives for people right here at home. I will keep doing the work, and having the support of people like Jason on the national level, as well as local veterans and voters, will help us get there.”
Jason Kander is the latest individual to endorse Sen. Hollier, joining Patrick J. Kennedy, Serve America, VoteVets, Pipefitters Local 636, UNITE Here Local 24, Plumbers Local 98 Political Action Committee, among many others listed here.
